Family Medicine of Mt. Pleasant P.C. is Henry County’s premier comprehensive primary care clinic – helping patients with acute, chronic, and preventative health care.  Our providers collectively have over 100 years of experience.

Our services include a full scope of family medicine including newborn and pediatric through geriatric care and nursing home care.  Several providers also do prenatal and postnatal care.

  • Female annual exams with pap smears
  • Laceration repair
  • Male annual exams
  • No scalpel vasectomy
  • Routine adolescent and adult immunizations

  • Toenail removal
  • Well child/newborn check-ups
  • Several providers also do prenatal and postnatal care. 
  • And lower cost laboratory testing is available.

Each caring team consists of a Physician and a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, dedicated to serving the health care needs of Southeast Iowa communities.

For medical emergencies, dial 911.

For non-urgent medical questions, call 319-423-3527 and press 7 to speak to the FMMP Physician-On-Call.

We do not refill medications or schedule appointments after hours.

New Patient Resources


Prescription Refills

If you need a prescription Refill, contact your pharmacy directly.   

If you are out of medication – zero refills available – and require a prescription renewal, call the clinic.  An appointment with your provider is required for all medication renewals.

Please allow 48-72 hours for your medication requests to be addressed as some prescriptions require pre-authorization.
