Laura A. Miller, PA-C
Physician Assistant-Certified
My role as a physician assistant is to help increase access to health care for patients and to work closely with the physicians to optimize patient’s health. I work together with the physicians at Family Medicine to ensure people of our community are well informed and educated about their health and ways to improve their quality of life. I began practicing as a Physician Assistant in 2012, and continue to enjoy caring for a variety of patients in a Family Practice setting.
I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology from Simpson College in 2010, as well as Bachelors of Nursing from Mercy College in Des Moines in 2012. I graduated from PA school from Red Rocks Community College in Colorado while also receiving my Masters from St. Francis University in Medical Science. I gained experience during school, working part-time as a CNA, as an EMT and as a pharmacy technician. I am so very grateful for my extensive background in healthcare. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of these medical experiences throughout my education that have led me to be able to care for my patients from many different aspects of care.
