Kent Rynders, MD completed his undergraduate education at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa in 1994. He obtained his medical education at the University of Iowa College of Medicine and graduated at the top of his class in 1998. He joined Family Medicine of Mt. Pleasant, PC in 2001 after completing residency in Mason City. He enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his wife and 5 children. He is interested in holistic wellness – physical, emotional and spiritual health.
He is Board Certified in Family Practice and enjoys caring for all ages, all types of problems. He has an office-based practice with special interest in office-based procedures such as vasectomies, care for in-grown toenails, skin biopsies and removal of common types of skin cancer such as basal cell and squamous cell with specialized training in dermoscopy for suspicious lesions. He provides newborn care (including circumcisions) and can also provide advanced gynecological services such as colposcopy and endometrial biopsy. He provides routine fracture care and can perform joint injections.

He joined Family Medicine of Mt. Pleasant, PC in 2001.
He enjoys reading and studying theology and philosophy. He is interested in holistic wellness – physical, emotional and spiritual health. He is Board Certified in Family Practice and enjoys caring for all ages and illnesses but does not provide obstetrical care.
