My healthcare career began when I was in high school, working as a CNA. After graduating from Northeast Iowa Community College in Peosta, Iowa in 2005 as a registered nurse, I worked at Finley Hospital in Dubuque before relocating to Iowa City. I went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2011 from the University of Iowa, focusing in adult and geriatric care, while working as a nurse in neurosurgery and medical intensive care.
I joined Family Medicine of Mount Pleasant in February of 2020 and have previous experience in diabetes management and inpatient medicine. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my children, reading, gardening, and traveling.
